Last year more than 15,000 students at Clark County Schools were identified as being homeless, while Nevada ranks #1 in the nation for un-sheltered youth. West Coast Chess is going beyond the board to truly impact youth in a positive way. You Don't Have to Play Chess to Make a Difference
Here at West Coast Chess, we realize the kind of impact we can make if we are able to bond with youth over Chess. We also know that we can't do it alone. We envision a club that goes beyond the board for our community, and we need your help. Our "Get Involved" Section has volunteer opportunities, current Chess Club needs, and other ways we can make a difference together.
